Solving maths problem
This whole week for maths we revisit how to solve problem using the 4 operation. To solve the problem we had to know our addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. At first I found it hard because I forgot how to do it but then after a while my knowledge came back and it was easy for me to do it. Next I would like to revisit how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions.

Addition and Subtraction
In this game I had to add and subtract. I found this very easy. In this problem I used addition to work out the answer. I add 10 and 8 which gave me 18 and that was my answer. Next I would like to get more challenging addition problems. Maybe in the 3 or 4 digit numbers.

WALT: create a garden with a pool using square units
I found this interesting and easy. I enjoyed doing this and this was my dream garden with a pool and I hope someday it might come true. By doing this I learned the concept of area and how much things cost in the real world.

Maths with Bina
WALT: solving problems
This morning for maths a lady name Bina came to our class to teach us about solving problems. Mrs Bina is a maths facilitator. She was teaching us about fractions. First she told us to solve the problem by ourselves and she split us into groups. I was working with Robin, Yazmin, and Petuana. We had to share our ideas with each other. I found this easy because we worked together as a group to solve the problem. Next I want to learn about equivalent fractions.

This game had taught me my division very well. Next time I will try and get 300 points. Next I would like to learn my fraction because I don’t know my faction very well.

Repeated Addition
Today I have been learning to use repeated addition to solve simple multiplication problems. Repeated addition means adding the same number over and over again. This game was a racing game. I came first place because I used repeated addition to solve each multiplication problem.
