Learning about fractions

I have been learning about fractions. Today we learnt how to draw fraction of shapes in the drawing 
program. Sometimes it was hard getting all the fractions the same size.

Learning to skip

                       Learning to skip


In the morning room9 went to  skipping. Melissa handed out the skipping ropes.The first thing room9 had to do was to stand in a straight line outside.The first movement room9 had to do was 20 forwards skipping.  To do forwards skipping, you put the rope behind you and then you start to skip.The second move was 20 backwards skipping.  To do backwards skipping you got to put your rope in front of you then you jump.The third movement was 20 side to side.  To do the side to side move, you place your rope behind you then jump side to side.The fourth move was 20 slide skipping.  To do slide skipping  you put the rope behind you the you slide.The last thing they did was a competition to see who could jump the longest.  After that the children in room 9 were all tired. When the skipping was over they made their way to class and carried on with their work.

Making Sandman










At the Beach
 One hot sunny morning  Mele , Sina, Lana and I went to the beach.When we got there we saw a paper that say making a sandman.So we decide to join.When we got there we ask the lady next to us if we can join.The lady said yes but this is not for fun. Mele ask the lady if this was a competitions and she said yes.We tried sneaking out of the game but the lady kept getting us.When it was time for our tune we were all nervous that we might lose.When the game started we were all running around to get some water and some sand.When we got all the stuff we need we went back to where we were and started to build our sandman .When we looked to the other team they were way ahead of us so we tried working more faster but the other team kept on going.When  we were nearly done the other team was finishing there sandman.When we had to do one more thing.When we finshed we were all happy that our sandman was done.When the judge voted who was going to win the surprise they quickly said that we won.We were so excited that we all shouted out hoary! Then went home with our price and we spent it on shoes.

When the bell rings for home time, kids in Glen Innes school run to their walking school buses. In Glen Innes school there are 3 buses and they are called Jitter bug’s.Goody goody gumdrops,and Mrs Betty’s bus.In these 3 buses there is always an teacher or an adult to lead the bus.  In the Jitterbug's bus it leads all the way to Epping street. In the Goody goody gumdrops it leads all the way to Castledine. In the last bus Mrs Betty’s bus it leads to Taniwha. When the walking school are all done everyone goes home and got ready for the next day.

A Tear

Today I shed a tear.

Today I shed a tear  when my grandma die.
She had a heart attack.
It was so sad to watch my  grandma die.
My cousin and I couldn't believe our eyes.
My family were sad that we had to let her go.
When we left my grandma I said you are the best.
The rest hugged her and left.
Today I shed a tear.

Camille leans basic facts

Every day I get to learn basic facts in class. I get better every day in my basic facts. My basic facts help me with my addition , multiplication , Division , and subtraction.

This is a snapshot in of my learning in music. I was learning how to play a synthesizer  and I also learned how to play different kind of music. I found this work a bit hard because  it wasn't so easy  cause there were many keys and it made it difficult. What I want to learn about next is maths because I am sometimes bad at maths.
